Dear Residents,

Can we make you aware of a garage break which occurred overnight Sunday 1st to Monday 2nd February 2026 on Watkin Road in Clayton Le Woods. 

We believe 2 offenders entered the rear garden of a property and gained entry to the garage by forcing the shutters open. They then stole 2 pedal cycles from within and escaped back through the garden gate. This path would have lead them onto Preston Road close to the doctors surgery, where they could have gone towards Chorley or Preston.

If anyone has CCTV or comes across the bikes abandoned please get in touch or ring 101.
